I was watching Katt Williams 'Pimpadelic' recently and he was saying something that really rang home. He said hes a fan of an artists work, not of that person, a fan of their genius. That way when do they do something that is inexcusable you can still enjoy their genius because you haven't put this person up on a pedestal. All personal mistakes aside, Chris Brown is a genius of our generation. This music video is really sick.

First of all, I love how in this age of immediate information a video from a few years ago is a "Throwback Clip" but it does seem like a while since this video came out. What made me post this was the fact that this video is currently featured on WhoSampled? and website that is THE place to find info on where samples in many songs or covers of many songs come from. Im alwsys scratching my head and wondering where certain samples came from and this site had yet to fail me. -The Chef is Back with a solid effort. The album is good but am I the only one who thought it could have been a little better. I guess my biggest beef is I think the track with two of my favorites GZA and Slick Rick is probably the worst on the album) Dr. DRe and Raekwon is powerful, but I would love to see the whole WU jump on a 'amazing' Dre track, which I have to say doesn't actually appear on this album. I say amazing because 99% of what Dre does is great, sure would like to hear Chronic 3001 before I die. Vintage RZA production standouts.

Creativity off the meters. Might need to put the dro down when he writes sometimes but I ain't mad at him. If I were him Id be doing it twice as much. btw Ratatat is amazing live even without the shrooms.

The lyrical relevance, mixed with the outstanding production and great balance of concepts on this album has yet to be seen by so many artists that call themselves Hip Hop Artists. This is Real Hip Hop and it bumps hard. A must have, a must listen, PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM, it might just save your life. Im fucking serious. GREATNESS

At the end of the day, his death is a symptom of the sick, cyclical social systems that a rise in our black communities after years of continual oppression and negligence. Our adolescents need guidance. It saddens me that I haven't heard more about this story on the news yet Kanye interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMA's was news for weeks. Where is the outrage?
