-Jay-Z 'most experimental album' so far? Not really, just no home run radio singles except Run This Town but with a statement record like D.O.A. . Who needs a home run? Thats a grand slam.

-The Chef is Back with a solid effort. The album is good but am I the only one who thought it could have been a little better. I guess my biggest beef is I think the track with two of my favorites GZA and Slick Rick is probably the worst on the album) Dr. DRe and Raekwon is powerful, but I would love to see the whole WU jump on a 'amazing' Dre track, which I have to say doesn't actually appear on this album. I say amazing because 99% of what Dre does is great, sure would like to hear Chronic 3001 before I die. Vintage RZA production standouts.

- Talented up and coming MC from Cali with a laid back flow and ear for production. On of the better mixtapes of this year. Im excited to hear more from this artist.

Man on the Moon: The End of Day
Solid Effort on Kid Cudi's Debut. Sonically Cudi is definitely pushing the boundaries for todays Hip Hop artists. Lyrically.....
it could be better. Haven't had the opportunity to burn one to this which I know would take the disc to another level. All in all , I excited to see this man's career take off. Creativity off the meters. Might need to put the dro down when he writes sometimes but I ain't mad at him. If I were him Id be doing it twice as much. btw Ratatat is amazing live even without the shrooms.

I don't actually think I can say enough about this album. It may not be in just my top five Hip Hop ALBUMS of the year but it may be creeping into my top albums of ALL TIME. The lyrical relevance, mixed with the outstanding production and great balance of concepts on this album has yet to be seen by so many artists that call themselves Hip Hop Artists. This is Real Hip Hop and it bumps hard. A must have, a must listen, PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM, it might just save your life. Im fucking serious. GREATNESS
